1. Line up notches on the two halves of the fisonair and push together firmly
2. Remove the cap from inhaler, shake and insert into device
3. Breathe out gently (but not fully)
4. Place mouthpiece in mouth
5. Holding device level, press canister once to release a dose of drug
6. Breathe in slowly and deeply
7. Remove device from mouth
8. Hold breath for ten seconds, or as long as is comfortable
9. If a second dose is required wait about one minute before repeating stages 2-8
